Clockwork Active Media Systems

Minneapolis, MN

For the second incarnation of FeistyGirlArt.com, I needed a site that I could easily update to display upcoming events and recent work. I talked with my friends at Clockwork Active Media Systems (a User Experience Company in Minneapolis) and they came up with the idea to barter a conference room for web design!  It was a brilliant collaboration!  I got a first hand look as to why they always win the Best Place to Work award year after year.

They were moving into a new building and they decided to do 3 conference rooms named for the artist who adorns the walls (or other spaces) of each individual room.  I got the Feisty Girl Art room…A BRIGHT gorgeous room in a super funky re-modeled old NE Mpls garage.  I thought about it for several weeks and knew I had to have something clever for this crew.  How about Clocks of the world?  I decided on a theme of vintage and ancient clocks and gears.  The large piece is 3′x8′ and there are 5 14″x14″ and a variety of smaller ones to pull the room together.  You have to see it in person!  The colors are fantastic.

If you are reading this from my website you can see I got a great trade…Clockwork did an unbelievable job of pulling all my stuff together and making me look good. And best of all, the site is easy for me to maintain moving forward.  Their web design and tireless efforts were worth every minute I spent making the Feisty Girl Art room come to fruition.
